What is your favorite Italian recipe?
I love all types of Italian recipes for dinner, but my absolute favorite is homemade manicotti.
And I also love a bowl of plain pasta with homemade tomato sauce. I like to call that my
"old school" recipe because when my husband and I were first married we ate
a lot of pasta with just tomato sauce. We were just starting out and didn't have much.
We enjoyed our pasta recipe a few times a week...without meat too!
I thought for this week's Menu Plan Monday we would focus on Italian Recipes
to make for our dinner. And not your typical, baked ziti or lasagna type of recipes.
I'm so happy we have our menu plan to help every week to make sure we have good meals
on the table every night for our families.
If you're struggling with getting meals together and on the table every night, I suggest you start planning out your meals. Get the kids involved with the planning also! Have them pick a meal one night a week. And make sure they know they need to pick a healthy meal that includes vegetables. Make it fun for them!
