July 4th is next weekend! We are having my family over, but we're keeping it low key as we're all still missing my sister-in-law Beth.
I don't have my menu or decorating completely planned, so I went looking for some ideas and recipes. I found so many great July 4th ideas and, of course, put them into my Friday Favorites post this week. Enjoy!
These are all great ideas to incorporate into all summer parties and entertaining. I don't know what it is about summer, but the colors need to be bold and yes, they need to be patriotic! Bring on the red, white and blue when decorating your back yard or back porch...as we do!
Inexpensive Patriotic Table Centerpiece. This is what I did for our 4th of July celebration. It turned out really easy and very pretty. I love mason jars and adding the colored sand makes it really fun!
Patriotic Tablecloth... I really wish I could do this. I wish I could sew. Maybe one day! How cute would this be on the buffet table or the table you're planning on sitting down to enjoy the meal. You can purchase bandanas on Amazon as I know sometimes it's hard to find them locally during this time of year.
Mason Jars and Bandanas... This is doable! All you need are mason jars and bandanas. You can even let your guests use the mason jars as their glasses for drinks. Fun!
Patriotic Berry Kabobs - yummy, yummy in my tummy!
Fun Nail Polish Ideas - maybe more for the younger crowd, but still fun! You can find patriotic nail strips on Amazon as well. I think they would be so much easier to apply than nail polish.
And a really cute outfit to wear. I love this top! If you're looking for an easy way to find something to wear for the summer, try Amazon. Really. I've purchased a ton of items and am never disappointed. Here's the link to the women's tops similar to the one below - Boho Style Blouses.
