Recipe: EASY French Onion Soup

You are going to love how easy it is to prepare French Onion Soup at home with this recipe!
French Onion Soup is easy to make at home to enjoy for dinner from Walking on Sunshine.

French Onion Soup is one of my favorites! My husband and I actually love ordering French Onion Soup whenever we go out to eat and are in the mood for soup.  I always thought it was just a "restaurant ordering" type of soup.

A lot of people think this soup is difficult to make but it's really not. I never knew it could be so EASY to make! Today I'm sharing with you this amazing recipe for Easy French Onion Soup with a VIDEO.

It makes a great accompaniment with grilled cheese sandwiches or it's a great meal all on it's own.  AND it freezes beautifully.  On a busy day, I take a container of this soup out of the freezer, toast some bread for croutons and dinner is ready.

Decorating for Fall Outside

One of my favorite things to do when fall has arrived is to decorate outside.  Unfortunately, we have so much wind where we live here in this corner of PA, that's it's a little difficult at times.   The wind has been known to blow my scarecrows all over the place; not to mention pots of beautiful mums.  Last year the wind blew over one of my larger heavy clay pots and it cracked into quite a few pieces.  Here are some great ideas to help inspire you to put together some great ideas for your house.

Kitchen: Cast Iron Grill Pan

I have another great Kitchen Tool to share with you today.  I love my cast iron grill pan.  I've it for about seven years and I do use it often.  I mostly use this grill pan for steak or hamburgers.  The meat always comes out amazing...sometimes better than when cooked outside on the grill.

Recipe: Pumpkin Glazed Donuts

Pumpkin Glazed Donuts are delicious and EASY.  Baked in the oven using a great donut pan.
Pumpkin Glazed Donuts from Walking on Sunshine Recipes.

Quick...name something you really enjoy about Fall!  For me, it's PUMPKIN!

I made these Pumpkin Glazed Donuts the other day and they came out so good.  They're very similar to the Pumpkin Muffins I shared with you awhile ago.

There are so many recipes going around on Facebook using spice cake mix and canned pumpkin puree that are so easy.  I used the same donut pan that I made these chocolate donuts in for Olivia's birthday a few years ago so they were baked and not fried.

Tips: How to Quickly Peel Tomatoes to use in Recipes

How to Quickly Peel Tomatoes to use in Recipes from Walking on Sunshine.

We had a great tomato harvest this year in our garden.

One of the things I love to do with tomatoes, besides "eating" them is to preserve them to use at a later date.  The first step in canning tomatoes is to peel them.  Here is an easy
Kitchen Tip on peeling tomatoes quickly that I use every year.

Visit Bethlehem, PA with Me...

Today I want to take you on a little trip with me to Bethlehem, PA. Bethlehem lies in the center of the Lehigh Valley; a 45 minute drive from our house.   In June, my husband and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary and we spent the day walking around this cute town and had lunch at one of their many restaurants.   In July, we went back with family to celebrate both of our birthdays...
