A fun snack to enjoy with your family is Roasted Pumpkin Seeds; especially if your house is filling up with all the traditional sweet snacks associated with Halloween. Why not make something delicious and fun for your family to snack on while handing out treats to the neighborhood kids this year.
Halloween is this week, which means there is still time to put some cute snacks together for your family. Maybe your child is having a party at school and you want to send something special in for the class or you're feeling creative. Either way, you'll want to see these cute snacks!
Now that the Fall season is upon us, there are so many delicious pumpkin recipes being shared. Most of these pumpkin recipes call for Pumpkin Pie Spice; which is sold in a tiny jar in the grocery store. The last time I purchased pumpkin pie spice, it was almost $6.00...for a small container. After a little research, I discovered that we can easily make this spice with ingredients already in my spice cabinet.
A few weeks ago, a friend of mine gave me a cute gift...all the dry ingredients needed to make cookies, packaged in a jar with the baking instructions attached. All I had to do was add the liquid ingredients. The jar was so cute, it sat on my counter for a few weeks until we started craving something sweet a few days ago. These are Jani's Cookies or "Halloween Cookies" I made from this great gift.
I have a great set of cooking utensils to share with you today in our Kitchen Tool Spotlight post. The set includes a silicone spatula, spoon, brush and whisk. Each piece is molded to be strong and durable yet flexible at the same time.
