How long is ham good in the fridge?
If stored properly, ham can maintain quality in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 days. Ensure longevity by tightly wrapping leftovers in plastic wrap or sealing them in an airtight container, clearly labeled with the date and contents.
Before using, allow the ham to reach room temperature for optimal cooking or serving. Additionally, freeze any surplus ham by wrapping it first in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil.
For convenient usage, portion smaller quantities into individual packages, perfect for recipes. Store these packets in either an airtight container or a large freezer-safe plastic bag.
