Can you believe this year is almost over?
I am in shock that the year has flown by. So much has happened and we have been so extremely busy these last few weeks leading up to the holidays. This is why I'm so happy we have our menu plan to help every week to make sure we have good meals on the table every night for our families.
This week's menu plan it's all about comfort food as the days are getting shorter and it is getting colder here in our corner of the world. I love to fix something comforting for my family and I'm ready to share with you some of our favorites for this week's Menu Plan Monday.
If you're struggling with getting meals together and on the table every night,
I suggest you start planning out your meals. Get the kids involved with the planning also!
Have them pick a meal one night a week. And make sure they know
they need to pick a healthy meal that includes vegetables.
Make it fun for them!
Salisbury Steak Meatballs from Jo Cooks
These Salisbury Steak Meatballs with Gravy and Mashed Potatoes are true comfort food
and this recipe is EASY to put together so dinner is on the table quick!
Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup from Two Peas and Their Pod
This soup has it all: sausage, cheese, pasta, and veggies.
You can get your entire meal in one bowl!
All you need to complete this meal is add some delicious bread.
Crockpot Beef Stew from Gonna Want Seconds
I have a doctor's appointment today, so having dinner cook in the crock pot
while I'm out of the house is perfect!
I know my family will love this recipe. I would serve the stew over buttered noodles.
Ham and Potato Corn Chowder from Closet Cooking
This ham and potato chowder really easy to make AND it takes less than 30 minutes
so it's perfect for any night of the week and if you make a large batch then the leftovers are even better for lunch the next day!
Lasagna Grilled Cheese from A Latte Food
I always love to post a fun meal on Fridays because dinner
on Fridays should be something different and fun than the rest of the week.
When the kids were little, we loved watching a movie together while
eating dinner and these grilled cheese sandwiches would be perfect!
Add some chips or even fries and dinner is complete.
So what about YOU?
