Weekly Menu Plan - Thanksgiving Desserts

We're doing something different with this week's Menu Plan Monday.
It's all about Thanksgiving and the delicious desserts for
you to plan to make for your family next week.

I'm still in a bit of shock when I realize that Thanksgiving is next week!
I am just beginning to plan out my menu for the day and what better way to start than
with getting the desserts together.
This week's Menu Plan is all about delicious Thanksgiving desserts from Walking on Sunshine Recipes.

If you are hosting, NOW is the time to get your Thanksgiving menu together.
What do you plan to make for dessert on Thanksgiving Day?
You can make the pie crust this week and freeze it to pull out the
day before to put the pies together.
Get your family and guests involved...maybe have them bring a pie
or different dessert to help you out with all the other cooking and baking you have to do.

In our family, my mother always makes the apple and pumpkin pies.
My sister makes the pecan pie.
And we always try to have something fun for the kids.

I'm so happy we have our Weekly Menu Plan to help every week to make
sure we have good mealson the table every night for our families.

If you're struggling with getting meals together and on the table every night, I suggest you start planning out your meals. Get the kids involved with the planning also!
Have them pick a meal one night a week. And make sure they know
they need to pick a healthy meal that includes vegetables. Make it fun for them!

Apple Pie from Audrey's Apron.
I love the top crust on this apple pie.

Pumpkin Pie from Walking on Sunshine Recipes
This is the recipe I shared with you last week.  It is my favorite.

Pecan Pie Bars from Just a Taste
Something different than the traditional pecan pie. These bars look so yummy!

I love cheesecake and this would be a great addition to any dessert table this Thanksgiving.

Reeses Oreo Turkey Treats from Bitz and Giggles
You always need to remember that most kids do not enjoy apple or pumpkin pie...yet.
These turkey treats would be a great idea for the kids at your Thanksgiving table.
I would even have the kids assemble them for more fun.
