Menu Plan Monday #2

Monday, September 28, 2015

Welcome back to Menu Plan Monday.  I wasn't able to post anything last week since we were away visiting our son at Liberty University for the weekend and then I played "catch-up" with everything...be sure to come back this week and I'll share some photos from our visit!   Let's get into this week's Menu Plan.  I hope you're gathering great ideas from the menus I'm pulling together for you.  I know I am.  I'm going to be making ONE of these recipes this week for my family.  I will share the recipe with you in the coming weeks.

This is a recipe from Walking on Sunshine!
My husband and I love to order French Onion Soup in restaurants and then I decided last year to try to make it at home.  I'm so glad I did!  This is an easy recipe to follow and I actually think it tastes BETTER than most restaurants.  This soup really is a meal all on it's own, but I do like to make homemade bread sticks on the side.

Another recipe from the blog.  With this recipe you can have dinner on the table
QUICK for those busy days.  I like to serve rice pilaf with Chicken Marsala
but buttered noodles go nicely as well.

Now that the weather is cooler, beef stew is the perfect recipe to make
for dinner one night this week.  Serve over buttered noodles and make sure you
have plenty of crusty bread for some dipping in the gravy!

Beef Stew from Natasha's Kitchen...

This is the recipe I want to make for my family.
It looks amazing and I like the fact that it's not a heavy recipe.
I'll let you know how it comes out soon!

from Diet Hood...

I truly believe we all need an EASY meal for Friday evenings.
Friday nights should be celebrated!  You made it through another week
of work and the kids have made it through another week of school.
Grab a movie on the way home work and make something FUN and EASY!

  1. That French Onion Soup looks amazing! I actually tried French Onion Soup for the first time last year. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that :) I loved it though, and I keep thinking I need to make it home. I see this in my future soon!
