Homemade Household Cleaner

Use this easy homemade household cleaner in your house and you will save money!

This week for our Thursday's Tip I'd thought I'd share with you the "recipe" I use to make my Homemade All Purpose Household Cleaner.  It's really easy and does a really good job.
I've been using this household cleaner for years and I know I've saved a lot money!  I use it for our toilets, floors and counter tops.  Yes, it works beautifully on our quartz counter tops.  I've even used this cleaner to wash our windows and there are.no streaks!  I usually make four bottles and keep them under the bathroom sinks and my kitchen sink.

Homemade All Purpose Household Cleaner

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbs. ammonia
  • 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
  • 1/4 vinegar
Instructions

  • Add the ingredients to a plastic spray bottle.
  • Add enough water to fill the bottle completely.

Here are a few spray bottles you can use for your Homemade Household Cleaner:

  3. I've been meaning to make more of my own cleaners. I do make laundry detergent sometimes. I just need to sit down and do it. Thanks for the tip!

  4. Yes the alcohol helps kill those germs! I don't usually use ammonia, but tea tree oil instead. Love homemade cleaners - they are so much cheaper and get the job done! Thanks for linking up to Show Me Saturday.

  8. How interesting! I typically use a vinegar/water or an h2o2/water mix. Because the littles are still so young, I probably won't change that, but this ammonia mixture seems like a good cleaner. :)
