Recipe: Hamburgers with Homemade Mushroom Gravy

Delicious hamburgers made with a mushroom gravy and served over buttered noodles is perfect for dinner on nights you think you're too busy to cook!

Today I'm sharing with you a recipethat I make quite often and finally remembered to take photos the last time we had this for dinner.   I usually make the hamburgers in my cast iron grill pan and make the gravy in a separate heavy sauce pan.

Once the hamburgers are done cooking, I add them to the gravy to keep warm until we're ready to eat. The result is a delicious moist hamburger patty with an amazing mushroom gravy that my family really enjoys.

I usually love to serve these hamburgers over buttered egg noodles, but buttered rice is just as good.  Or you can make mashed potatoes or even a baked potato.

For the "picky" kids who don't like mushrooms, you can make the whole recipe first and then remove their hamburger with a little gravy and then add the mushrooms for those who like mushrooms.

Here's a little secret:  I don't like mushrooms!  But I still enjoy this recipe!
