You're going to love this easy and delicious Oreo Pudding Dessert from Walking on Sunshine Recipes.

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day
I did!  It was so nice to be able to celebrate with my husband home.  Last year he was still in the States, but not with us as he was training to head overseas.  Our daughter is back down in Florida so she was missing, but she called and we sent text messages back and forth throughout the day.  I had my mother and my sister and her family over for dinner and I made this new recipe called Oreo Pudding Dessert that came out amazing.  It was pretty easy also so I wanted to share it with you!

Here's a photo of my son and I before leaving for church on Mother's Day.

Oreo Pudding Dessert

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 6 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1 tub of Cool Whip
  • 2 packages of instant Cookies and Cream pudding mix; 4/2 ounce size
  • 3 1/4 cups milk

Crush the cookies, reserving 1/2 cup to be used as the topping.
Combine the remaining cookie crumbs with the melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9 X 13 baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese.
Add the sugar and the 2 Tablespoons milk and mix well.
Fold in 1 1/4 cups of Cool Whip.
Spread this mixture over the cookie crust.
In another bowl, combine the two boxes of pudding mix with the 3 1/4 cups of milk.  Set aside until the pudding is slightly thickened.
Spread the slightly thickened pudding on top of the cream cheese layer.
Spread the remaining Cool Whip on top of the pudding layer.
Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs on top.
Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.

We loved this dessert!   I will definitely be making this again.
The only thing I would do differently next time is not use the Oreo cookies as a crust. I would use chocolate graham crackers instead because my son was quite upset to find his favorite package of cookies missing from the pantry.
