The recipe for this dessert couldn't be more easier!  If you've never worked with puff pastry before, it's so easy!

Unfold the sheet of puff pastry and place on top of a floured flat surface.

Peel, core and slice the apples; toss with the cinnamon/sugar mixture.

Arrange the apple slices on the puff pastry leaving a one inch border.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown.

Puff Pasty Apple Tart

A delicious and easy dessert recipe for puff pastry apple tart that will impress your family

INGREDIENTS:

  • One sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 to 3 apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 TBS. ground cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl; set aside.
  2. Unfold the sheet of puff pastry and place on a floured flat surface.
  3. Using a rolling pin, go over the puff pastry sheet lightly, to remove any indentations from the pastry being folded.
  4. Peel, core and slice the apples. Toss the apples with the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
  5. Place the apples on top of the sheet of puff pastry, leaving about a one inch border around the edges.
  6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes in a preheated 415 degree oven.
  7. Let cool before slicing and serving.
