July 4th Recipe Ideas...

Sunday, June 30, 2013

I can't believe July 4th is THIS week.
Here are a few ideas I put together for the main course
of your party or BBQ...

First up is my absolute favorite, STEAK.
This recipe is a new marinade that I recently tried and has
become a favorite for our family...

You can't go wrong with Falling off the Bone BBQ Ribs.
This is a delicious easy recipe.
You can make the ribs the day before your company comes in the CROCK POT
and then finish them off on the grill while your guests are arriving...

Chicken Kabobs are always fun and yummy.
You'll love the marinade for this chicken...

In the mood for some burgers?
Well, here are a few from my Foodie Friends.

First up is a delicious Buffalo Turkey Burger from Michelle who
can be found on From Calculus to Cupcakes...

Here's a Bison Burger from Marlys who blogs over at This and That...

Jenny from In the Kitchen with Jenny makes a different type
of burger on her grill with her Meatloaf Patties...

Tomorrow we're all about sharing Side Dishes
for your Independence Day BBQ.

And if you're looking for something FUN to do with the kids,
why not head over to Daily Dish Magazine
for a great post on GIANT Bubbles

  1. Those chicken kabobs look fantastic! Thanks for the link to the giant bubbles. Hope you have a wonderful Fourth!

  2. Lois, your ribs look so good! But I also wouldn't say no to the Buffalo Turkey Burger ... Oh who am I kidding, I wouldn't say no to all the delicious dishes on this round-up :)

  3. Why do I always leave your blog hungry? Lol! Looks great!

Hope you do have a great 4th!

  4. G'day! happy pre July 4th, true!
WHERE does time go? If you know, would LOVE to know too!
Never has bison before, but based on your photo, now I might try!
    Cheers! Joanne
