2 Thessalonians 3:3...

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you..."
2 Thessalonians 3:3

This has been a hard week for me.
I was finally able to see the dentist who put the crown on my tooth.

Apparently there were a lot of tiny pieces of cement stuck under the crown,
with nowhere to go, causing the fleshy part of my healthy tooth to swell and become infected.

The procedure to clean under the crown was horrible and I'm on an antibiotic
to fight the infection that has set in.

Yes, I'm still in pain.

I saw this the other day and thought it fit me perfectly.
Because I did feel as if God didn't care,
as if He was just letting me suffer in this pain.

The reality is quite the opposite...

He LOVES me.

He LOVES you.

All you need to do is let Him in.

As always, if you have any questions on having a relationship with our Lord,
please leave me a comment or you can email me.

I'd be happy to show you the way.

Enjoy your day!

  1. I am so sorry for your tooth trouble and your pain. I can understand your feelings. It is hard to be positive, joyful, and trusting when you HURT!
I pray that your pain will be relieved quickly and that you will be able to see His purpose in this..."the pearl"...because there always is one!

  2. I am so glad that your on the road to be being pain free. What a nightmare that was for you. Don't ya just love that the Lord understands our weaknesses, and loves us more than we can ever imagine? Enjoy your day!

  3. Hope you are feeling much better soon. I am very familiar with that kind of pain and it's one of the worst. At times like this, isn't it comforting to know that God is sovereign and loves us. Blessings on you!

  4. I hope you are feeling better soon! Have you thought about changing to a different dentist??

  5. Oh how I hate tooth pain! I hope yours will go away soon Lois!

Saying a little prayer for you right now!

    Love, Linda
