Well,  for ME growing up my all time favorite cookie was
Chocolate Chip Cookies...

But NOW that I'm an adult, I really enjoy a good
old-fashioned OATMEAL COOKIE...

Come back tomorrow for the recipe and a special
Something Yummy for My Colonel's Tummy POST!

But before you leave, let me know...
"What is YOUR favorite cookie?"

  1. In childhood, there were peanut butter cookies, no-bake cookies, chocolate chip cookies or molasses cookies. They are still my favorites. (I don't think that I can narrow it down much better than that.)

  2. I've always loved peanut butter cookies, hopefully, with a Kiss as well as no-bake cookies, sugar cookies, choco chip and molasses cookies.
Hmmm, perhaps Vee and I were sisters and grew up apart! LOL

  3. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shhhhhhhhhh secret time I LOVE any cookies.
Oh I need a cookie now.
    Love this post.

  4. That's a hard one...Just one??
I'd have to say my favorite was a plain ol' peanut butter.
Now a days my favorite are iced oatmeal or butterscotch.

  5. Mmmmm. My favorite is still (GF) chocolate chip. My mom always skimped on the chocolate chips and we were lucky to get a few chocolate chips in our cookies. I stuff them full of chocolate chips and walnuts. Actually, the dough is just a convenient carrier for chocolate chips and walnuts. :-)

  6. Hand's down...my mom's warm Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies! Too die for!

  7. Oh goodness I don't know if I could say just one....a good old fashioned choc. chip is just soo hard to beat. But I LOVED decorated and frosted sugar cookies too. Still love them. But if I could pick any cookie today it would have to be an oatmeal raisin cookie. Why do want a cookie now? haha Have a good day!

  8. My favorite cookie is homemade oatmeal raisin where the raisins are plumped before adding to the cookie dough.

  9. My favorite cookies both as and child and now are chocolate chip!

  10. As a child my 2 favorites were grahmcrackers with butter cream frost in the middle or fig neutons. Now my favorite is chocolate chip.

  11. Hi Lois,
Yea, chocolate chips was my fav too,
still is.......but rarely eat them now as they aren't as healthy for me as gluten free peanut butter cookies,
    love those babies!!

HOpe you are feeling much better this week hon,
    Blessings, Nellie

All those cookies look yummy!! lo
Makes me want to go make pb cookies.

  13. Hello,
I have always loved peanut butter cookies!!
P.S. Thanks for visiting me, leaving a comment, and following me. I am now following you :)

  14. Homemade chocolate chip cookies is my favorite.Love your cookie round up.

  15. My mom was a cake baker, but I don't remember her ever making cookies. When the Magic Cookie Bar recipe became popular, she would make those. So, my favorite cookie came from the grocery store...Danish Wedding Cookies in a pink bag! I LOVED them! Never bought them for my children...didn't even know if they still sold them, but I found them about a year ago. Now they are in a pink box. Not quite as good as I remember, but still very good!

  16. Oatmeal Raisin were and still are my favorite. Thanks for the recipe on some of the other cookies. I will definitely be trying them.

  17. Wow! Great recipes here Lois. My childhood favourite was my grandma's Snickerdoodles. She's gone but I make them still, and they are still among my favourites.

  18. You're just torturing us with all those cookie photos and asking us to choose. I choose ALL! :)

  19. For me, it was definitely peanut butter cookies, and my mom would let me help push them down with the fork. :) Wish I had one right now!

    Have a great day!

  20. I love all homemade cookies, my mom makes really great persimmon cookies but my guilty pleasure is OREOS!
