Vomiting, Broken Toes and a Trip to the ER...

Wednesday, August 15, 2012

This has been a horrible few days for me.

On Saturday night I came down with "the migraine from hell."
I dislike having to use that word, but there is no other way to describe the pain I was in,
or the vomiting, which did help to reduce the pressure from my brain.

I spent Sunday recovering while the family went to church and by
the early evening I was doing much better.
Monday was a great day and it looked like I was recovering nicely.

Until 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
I woke up with the worse stomach cramps...something I've had BEFORE.

I managed to get myself showered and sort of dressed and
fixed The Colonel's and Michael's breakfast and lunch.
The Colonel took Michael down to the football field, which is something I usually do.

Around 9:30 I knew I needed to be in a hospital.
I was just throwing up too much.

My mom drove me to our local hospital and My Colonel arrived just after
they gave me the medicine to stop the vomiting.
Wonderful medicine.

While we were waiting for everything to calm down for me,
Michael sent me a text telling me he needed to have x-rays done of his toes.
It seems someone landed pretty hard on his foot during practice.

So we turned Tuesday into a family day at the ER as Olivia went
and picked up Michael for him to have his x-rays done which thankfully

I am home resting.
Michael is icing his toes off and on and is back to practice today
and will be able to play in his scrimmage on Saturday.

Sorry I never got Tuesday's Question posted.
I almost had it complete before everything happened...you'll have to come back next week!

I'm not going to post until Friday.
I need some rest.
My body is quite tired.

Please come back on Friday for our Foodie Friends Linky Party!
We have a GREAT giveaway and I really hope more of you join this week!
