Crescent Rolls Fruit Tart...

Good Morning!

Thank you for your wonderful comments on yesterday's post
I enjoyed reading them all.
It's always a JOY when your children accomplish something
they've worked so hard for so many years.

This week's Something Yummy for My Colonel's Tummy
is a DELICIOUS and EASY Fruit Tart.

It's an easy and quick dessert to put together and your
family and guests will think you worked hard all day.

FRUIT TART...

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar

2 packages cream cheese, softened

1 container Cool Whip, softened

2 tubes crescent rolls

Assorted fruit

Unroll crescent rolls.

Lay flat on a baking pan, pressing seams together.

Bake at 350 until lightly browned...

Using a hand mixer, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar.
Once combined, fold in the Cool Whip, by hand.
Spread over top of cooled crescent rolls...

Add your fruit.
I used canned peaches (completely drained), fresh strawberries, blueberries and banana.
You can use whatever assortment you like...

Here are two different ones I made a few years ago.
One with bananas...

One without bananas...

The tray that I used for this dessert is a tray that was
used for our wedding reception 25 years ago.
It's plastic, and it finally broke a year ago.

It was used to hold the many little sandwiches we served to our guests
and I have used it all these years for many special treats and it was the
perfect size for this fruit tart.

This is the tart I made recently for my daughter's birthday with the replacement tray...

Enjoy Your Day!
