Pork Won Ton Appetizers...

It seems the last few weeks have been a little crazy for me.
As if you couldn't tell by my lack of posting LAST week.

This week should be about the same because
the Colonel's brother and wife are coming for a visit TONIGHT...

FOR A WHOLE WEEK!

Seriously, we are looking forward to this visit as we
haven't seen Michael in a few years.
Michael and Helen live in Alaska, so
you can see why they don't get to visit much.

This past week I've been busy
cleaning and making lists of what meals to serve so blogging has
taken a back seat to my life.

With that being said,
this week I am planning on sharing the Most Popular Recipes from the
past 4 years on Walking on Sunshine.

Today's Recipe is a DELICIOUS one and
I'm planning on making these as an appetizer for Easter Sunday.
They're super easy and I can prepare them early in the day and
then fry them right before family arrives or
while they're mingling around in the kitchen.

EASY Won Tons...

Ingredients:

Coleslaw Mix (I used about 1 cup)
Leftover Pork (I used about 3/4 cup)
Teriyaki Sauce or Soy Sauce
Won Ton Wrappers

Begin by heating up 1 TBSP butter in a pan.
Add the coleslaw and saute for a few minutes until softened...

Add the pork and teriyaki sauce to heat through and combine
with the coleslaw mix...

Lay out your won ton wrappers and put about
1 TBSP of the pork and coleslaw mixture on one
side of the won ton wrapper...

Spread some water around the edges of the won ton.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT...

Fold the won ton over and press to seal all the edges...

I had a tray ready to go in just a few minutes...

In a heavy saucepan, heat up some oil and start cooking your won tons..

Cook until both sides are golden brown; just a few minutes.
Remove from the frying pan and drain on a tray that is layered
with paper towels...

Serve with some hot mustard or soy sauce...

Doesn't that look DELICIOUS...

I could not believe how EASY putting these won tons together were.
And how DELICIOUS they were as well!

I am sharing this recipe with Mix it Up Monday and Manic Monday
and Foodie Friends Friday

Come back tomorrow for Tuesday's Question!
