Olivia's Creamy Mac and Cheese...

Tonight for dinner we are having as our side dish

That's really not what this post is about.

I really wanted to get my Italian Chicken Cutlets posted today.
I'm running late and a little behind this morning.
So instead I thought I would just share the link with you for our
favorite Mac and Cheese recipe.

I made this the day before Olivia went back to college
and it was a crazy night.
Olivia had to be somewhere and Michael had to get to karate practice.

So I just told them to go ahead and make their plates and start eating.
Well, by the time the Colonel and I went to make our plates,
maybe 15 minutes later, all the Mac and Cheese was

And like most moms, that made my heart HAPPY!
The Colonel's stomach a little empty, but that's okay!

Today is a CRAZY day!

Need to be out of the house in a few minutes but wanted to
say hi to everyone and thank you all for the beautiful
comments you all leave me!

They really do make me feel great to come
here and read what you share with me.

I hope you all have a GREAT DAY!
It's beautiful and COLD here in PA with
a chance of some snow tonight and definitely MORE snow on Saturday.

On the menu at house tonight:

Chicken Cutlets, Italian Style
(Recipe coming, I promise)

Tossed Salad with Italian Dressing

Come back tomorrow for
Something Yummy for My Colonel's Tummy!

Enjoy your day!

  1. Isn't it fun when people love our food! Hope the Colonel doesn't starve to death in the meantime. ;-)

  2. I love a good mac and cheese and this looks wonderful! Have a good day1 ;D

  3. Sure makes you feel good when something you make is "devoured!" We love a good mac and cheese.

    Have a safe day.

  4. Oh my this sounds wonderful....I am going to pass this recipe on to Mel. She loves mac n cheese, but her hubby is even a bigger fan....Have a fun day!

  5. I LOVE the mac & cheese. It looks
so yummy the one you posted!

  6. I love mac and cheese! We had it with pork steaks just the other night. I'm looking forward to your recipe. Have a great day!

  7. I love Mac and Cheese, but on this dumb diet.... Mac and cheese is a thing of the past. Yours looks wonderful.

  8. I am so hungry right now! Mac~n~cheese...definitely a weakness of mine!

  9. Nothing left! It looks fantastic, so I can see why there was nothing left. Mac and Cheese is a favorite here, saving your recipe, my daughter will love it! Thanks!

  10. The Mac-n-Cheese looks really good. So I can see why it was all gone. I enjoy your blog very much with all the recipes and family news:)

  11. I'll be back for that recipe. Not a great cook here but I did manage to 'raise' my family cooking and eating at home together almost every night...Back then we weren't so keen on knowing the country fried steak, rice and gravy, and petite baby limas just might put a few pounds on you and deposit a little in your arteries. Thank goodness we were all very active and skinny back then! Sandra

  12. Since you shared your recipe this past fall I have made this mac and cheese every other week without fail...and one week I made it extra because Sydney didn't feel well and she requested it. :)

I can believe there was none left, I know it doesn't last long here! :)

  13. Wow~ that mac and cheese looks SOOO delicious! I can see why it would "disappear"! *hehe*

  14. I would love that - my family wants yellow old Kraft! HAHA

  15. An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb celebrity up for this blog post!
