Facebook...

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

I've been on Facebook for about as long as I've been blogging,
almost 4 years and I love BOTH.

I've connected with many friends and I've become even
closer friends with some of my blogging buddies on Facebook.

I saw this on Facebook last week and thought it was so good
I would share it with all of you today...

God was sitting in heaven one day when a scientist said to Him,
"God, we don't need you anymore.
Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing,
in other words, we can now do what you did in the beginning."

"Oh, is that so? Explain..." replies God.

"Well," says the scientist, "we can take dirt and form it into the
likeness of you and breathe life into it, thus creating man."

"Well that's very interesting...show me."

So the scientist bends down to the earth and starts to mold the soil into the shape of a man.

"No, no, no..." Interrupts God, "Get your own dirt."

If you haven't joined me on my journey on

Facebook,

please consider liking

Walking on Sunshine!

I'm trying a new recipe,
Chicken Puffs.

And you know I'll share it with you!

ENJOY YOUR DAY!

  1. Facebook is "fun;" however, I have started to tinker with Google +. The added benefit for me of being on Google + is that I don't have many "friends" yet, thereby, the posts are manageable. By contrast, I will open my Facebook page only to espy a plethora of new comments/posts from my hundreds of "friends."--Almost too much to keep up with.

  7. I am on facebook, but it lacks the personal connection that I have blogging. FB is good for a quick thought or note, but to me it is superficial. Have a good day.

  14. I am okay with Facebook, I could take it or leave it. I don't take it seriously at all. Yes, it's a good way to reconnect or stay in touch, but I tend to not share a whole lot of my real life day to day on there. Mainly if something makes me smile, I'll share it. Or if something in the news bugs me...I'll share that. Otherwise it's jokes and giggles. :)
