For my daughter, Olivia, it would be chicken pot pie. I started making my own chicken pot pie when Olivia was a baby. I would make the "filling" and put it in a blender to make it safe for her to eat. SHE LOVED IT.
I continued making this recipe and she continued to love it so much that when asked what was the one thing she loved about me for a preschool Mother's Day program she said my chicken pot pie.
All the other kids were saying how nice or kind or pretty their mom is and my girl said "My mom makes the best chicken pot pie." I still make this recipe and my girl still loves it.

Stir the flour and butter together and continue cooking until they are completely combined. Congratulations, you just made a ROUX.
Season your cream sauce. Add a cube of chicken bouillon and salt and pepper.
Now, add your vegetables and shredded chicken and continue to cook until everything is combined and thickened.
I'm using my own pie crust, but please do not feel bad about using store-bought. Roll out your pie crust. This time, I made individual pies.
Add your filling and top crust. Crimp the edges to make them pretty. Don't forget to add slits in the top of the crust. Bake at 425 for 30 to 40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
