this week's Tuesday's Question has to do with... 

So here goes...

"What is your favorite Thanksgiving scripture verse?"

My favorite Thanksgiving verse:

"To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. 
O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever."
Psalm 30:12

    1O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

    I memorized this in the King James as a child...

  2. Phil 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

    And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  3. Good morning! I love soo many of the Thanksgiving verses, but right up there at the top is...

    Psalm 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

    I am soo curious to see what you do with the verses. I always put our on our place cards and we read them aloud before we eat...

  4. Hi Lois! My favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 9 v. 15, 'Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.'
    It was actually my Bible reading for this morning!

  5. There are too many to pick, but if I have to it would probably be Phillipians 4:6,7. That's a favorite verse I memorized a long time ago. Have a great day!

    Actually there are 2 verses and they are the ones that popped right into my head when I read the question. The first one is my life verse, and has helped this prior worrier so very much.

    #1 Is Phil.4:6,7
    Be anxious for nothing,
    but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, make your requests be known to God
    and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

    #2 Psalm 100:4
    Enter His gates with Thanksgiving, and his courts with praise, give Thanks to him and praise his name.

  13. That is a good one, I love Psalm. One I love is this: Behold, this is the promise of the Lord unto you, O ye my servants. Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come. D&C 68:5-6 :D

    I think my favorite would also have to be Phil 4:6-7!

    I also just love Let Everything That Hath Breath, Praise the Lord! If we don't praise Him, the rocks will! :)
