The Day After...

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.
It was really nice here.
The food was delicious,
and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Now, just a word of advice for everyone today...
Do not get on the scale!

And if you do decide to do some exercising today,
THIS is a great way to drop some pounds...

And remember,
But seriously, after yesterday, we all need to remember ONE important thing.
THIS is the correct way to weigh yourself...
That's how I did this morning and everything
was GREAT!

On the menu at our house tonight by SPECIAL request
from Olivia:

"Something Yummy for My Colonel's Tummy"
will resume next Friday.
I think we all had a little too much "yummy" yesterday!

Enjoy Your Day!

  1. ha~ I can so relate! Fun comics :)

  2. I've pushed that thing so far up under the cabinet Sherlock Holmes couldn't find it! ;)

  3. Thanks for the giggles this a.m. Enjoy the day and Olivia's special requests!

  4. I can so relate - my pants are tight today! I bet your meal was delish!

  5. Lois, I loved your post. The cartoons were great. Glad that you had a good day.

  6. I'm not a weight watcher because I've inherited skinny genes. LOL I use to hate it when I was young but now I love it. I can't eat like I use to, but I try to take it easy. Sweets is my big downfall. I inherited that too.

  7. The scale makes you cry...indeed so very true. funny stuff :)

  8. My scale broke a couple weeks ago so I've been monitoring everything between my fat pants and skinny pants. So far so good, but the weekend's not over yet!!

  9. Love this post! I can relate to all of it! Thanks for the smile and laugh!!

  10. "I need to eat a skinny person"!! LOVE that one!! Hope you had a FULL day:)

  11. Those were so cute and I might say so true.
I love the first one. I know mine makes me cry.
    thanks for sharing them

  12. Oh how I enjoyed your 'funnies' post the day after T'giving. Great! I appreciate every one of them. *-* Is your hubby really a colonel? My hubby is retired from 20 years of military service. He was a Marine the first 4...once a Marine, always a Marine. =)
