Valentine's Day...

So how was every one's Valentine's Day?

Here's what the Colonel sent me...
Last Wednesday when it became obvious that we weren't going
anywhere due to the heavy snow falling,
Michael came to me a bit concerned.

He said he needed to get to church to
give "Miss Olga" one of my credit cards.

I told him we weren't going anywhere due
to the BLIZZARD outside.

I called my good friend Olga and asked her if I could just give her my
credit card number over the phone.
I told her I had a clue what was going on and she understood.

Saturday the above arrangement is delivered at our house.
Apparently the Colonel tried to order flowers on the Internet.
But he was having some trouble getting through from
Afghanistan so he sent an email to my friend
Olga and she gladly agreed to help out.

The card says, "Love You and Miss You"
Gerber Daisies are my FAVORITE flower...

So pretty...
Thank you Colonel!

  1. How sweet! Nothing can stand in the way of TRUE LOVE, not even Afghanistan nor a blizzard :)

  2. That was so thoughtful! You've got a good man!

  3. Morning Sunshine,

So sorry you didn't get to talk with him or see him on skype, praying it will be today!!

    day together!
Poor Michael he must have been in a bit of a panic........thinking how do I keep this a secret and get this to Miss Olga!! lol
    Glad he finally said something.
So is the snow melting at all?? what does your yard look like at present??? are you guys still stuck inside??? I thought I heard more was coming, is that right???I couldn't believe the news said we had snow in 49 of the 50 states, is that not amazing!!
