Luke 2:10-14
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you:
You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel,
praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on
earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

I hope you all have a wonderful day with family and friends remembering that without the manger we wouldn't have the saving grace of the cross!

  13. Hello Dear Friend,
I have been away from blogland for a few weeks, and just so enjoyed catching up with you.
You have been on my mind and heart lately, and I am praying for you and your family.

I so enjoyed reading of how Christmas was so special for you when you were growing up. It was so heart warming, it brought back wonderful memories of when my Father was living and how special he always made it for us.
Lois, you were a beautiful young lady then as well as now.

And what a wonderful man you married, he reminds me of my dh, always loving and caring. Now, that I think of it, yours and his relationship reminds me of ours,.Who better to trust the Colonel with than the one who created him, God loves him more than anyone.

As far as having a teenager driving ,that my dear friend I don't envy! I know how I was and we had two teen boys back to back. so get ready the gray hairs will be coming, and you will find that your knees will become more worn. LOL

Wishing you and your family the best New year.
    Hugs,
    Sue

  14. Hi Sunshine,
For some reason I can't get your New Years Eve blog to come up, so was wondering if you should check it because maybe somehow it got deleted or something. I tried about 10 times but it said this page can't be found, and it takes me to your Christmas post.
So how are you?? and what is happening with the Phil. I know he was suppose to report to Fort Benning on Dec. 26th, but has he
    actually been deployed already???
I have been praying for you cause I know this is a tough time.
So let me know what is happening over there girlie.
    Blessings, love and peace,
    Nellie

P.S. in answer to your question.... Christmas was just as rushed as ever. It flew by! UGH! I feel jipped! It's my own fault though.
