A place where I share a little of my life, but more importantly what's for dinner at our house tonight!
WHAT AN EYE OPENING POST.THIS IS GOING TO BE SUCH A DIFFICULT HOLIDAY SEASON FOR US...OUR FIRST WITHOUT AMY AND I NEEDED TO BE REMINDED THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO BE THANKFUL FOR.ONCE AGAIN....HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND THE COLONEL.ANGEL HUGSDEBBIE
A wonderful reminder to us, not to take the little things for granted. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
What a wonderful way to list your blessings, but you ARE employed, Lois, in the service of the Lord as well as all the things you do that would cost so much if the Colonel had to pay someone.May you and yours have a heart warming and joyful Thanksgiving.blessings and hugs, marcy
Excellent post! I need to start repeating these things to myself all throughout the day.
That's lovely and so true! Had to laugh when I read about using the towel more than once, my son sometimes takes 2 showers in one day and uses a clean towel for each one, LOL!!!!!
What a wonderful reminder of all the blessings we take for granted that our heavenly Father bestows on us! Thank you! Have a most blessed Thanksgiving!Hugs, Loretta
I LOVED this...in fact read it aloud to my husband who is sitting here beside me having his morning cup of coffee. And I told him, THIS is why I blog. And it couldn't be more true. Have a wonderful day. And many more blessings to you, Debbie
Oh, I love your clever list. There's so much truth in your words, m'dear! I'd love to see this list of yours turned into a little inspirational book! I'd keep it handy on the bedside table!
This is great, Lois. I think I need to do some contemplating and I'm sure the list would expand for me. Thanks for this perspective!!
What a great post, thanks for sharing it this morning. It really does give one something to think about. That towel one was so true, we went through lots of towels when the boys were in their teen yrs.Have a very blessed Thanksgiving.
Hi Sunshine! This is so wonderful and is something I consider often. Even though I dislike paying bills, I always thank the Lord that we have the money to pay them, and I apply this truth to my daughters as well in many different ways. It really does improve my attitude! Thanks so much for sharing this reminder.May God pour out His richest blessings on your family this Thanksgiving and fill your heart with joy and peace, my sweet friend.Love and hugs!Becky
When I complain about being so busy...go here go there, etc.Scot says..."At least we are not bored. We have lots of family and friends that keep us busy!" He's right...so are you. Happy day dear friend!
