Powerful

Powerful, beautiful, true...

One day I will rise and meet my Saviour.
One day I will hear the angels sing, "Worthy is the Lamb."

What a glorious day that will be!

  1. Good Morning, Lois! What a blessing to wake and listen to the beautiful word of this song. I especially like the verse that says:

There's a day that is drawing near
When the darkness breaks to light
    And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes

    Thanks you for posting!

  4. Morning Sweet Lois,
What a beautiful and truly uplifting song that is! Just Wonderful and like you said so powerful and true.
Thanks for coming by to visit, glad you liked my turle story, it really was hilarious. I could not believe that lil turtle could make sooo much noise.
My back was better yesterday, still
better than it was but I would say it's about 70% today. Must have overdone it yesterday. We went walking last night and it felt good, but maybe we shouldn't have.
    Oh Who knows! lol
Hope you are doing better dear.
I think about you quite often and
pray for you and your family. Will
Phil get to be home for awhile before he leaves??? I sure hope so.
I really like that verse in Matthew as well, and if we really do come to him with all our stuff,
he does give us rest and a peaceful heart in these days in which we live. Course, I think we have to come regularly!!
    For sure!!
I am looking forward to flying one of these days, which seems like it could be right around the corner
when you look at what is going on.
We will fly away o'Glory, I will fly away! What a glorious day it will be for sure!
Have a good day today hon,
    Love and Blessings, Nellie

  9. Hi Lois,
No, I did not know and I will be praying for him as he is away. I know you and the children will need to be lifted up in prayer, as well. It is a difficult time when you are apart for so long.
Enjoy these next 5 wks. as much as possible. There is nothing more important than your family time together.
We are experiencing that at the moment. The kids are here from CA. We are trying to fill every minute. This is day 9 of company and we have 9 to go. It's busy but special.
I have not had much time to blog but can do that when they leave a week from Sat. They have not been here for a year and 1/2. We have been there a couple of times though. Our daughter here is having so much fun with her big sister home.
I wish you could visit but you may not think my class is that great. lol
    Take care.

  11. If we dwell on the the day to day uncertainties it can be overwhelming. Just keep your eyes looking up and rest knowing that God loves you and he's in control.
How special you have your Dad's sermons on Psalms.
    Enjoy the moments together.
