"I know God won't give me anything I can't handle...
but sometimes I wish He didn't trust me so much."

Does anyone know who said that?

Leave me a comment!

And of course I do!

I'm off to the cemetery to visit my dad.

Enjoy your day!

  1. I don't know who said it, but I've heard it many times. There are days I think He must trust me a lot.

I know how hard cemetery visits can be :-(

  15. Hi Precious One,

My heart is with you today. My Mom's "earth suit" rests about 13 miles from my home. It seems to be getting easier to go and "visit." But just today I was reflecting on what a BIG hole one person can leave in my life.

Oh, but a sweet, sweet reunion awaits ALL who belong to JESUS! Praise GOD!

Talking about quotes, I love the title of your blog! Walking on Sunshine...that's what I long to do!

  16. You're posts are such a blessing. (I scrolled down a bit and saw the photo of your Dad's sermon notes) What a heritage you must have in your Father, and I pray that you continue to remember his love for you, and best of all, our Heavenly Father's love for you as well. Carry on! We'll keep reading. : )

Wasn't sure, but thought it might be Mother Teresa. Love that quote and many more she has said.
So sorry for your loss. I know it must be hard. Time softens the hurt.
