My Garden...

...or is it my bedroom?
Well for now, it's both!
This is what the corner of our bedroom looks like...
Basil growing on the windowsill.
I have lettuce growing on another windowsill in the hallway!

Cucumbers, green beans, sugar snap peas and squash...

Pumpkins and tomatoes. I really need to get the pumpkins in the ground, they are so huge!

And finally, my marigolds. I have three flats of these.
The Colonel will be home two days next week, can you guess what we'll be doing?

Filling up this garden!

I know we need dirt!

We work in "stages" around here due to the Colonel's schedule.

Enjoy your day!

  3. I miss Marigolds. I've grown them all my life. My mom always had several boxes of them on her porch. Don't feel bad. Most of our bedrooms are dirt covered too. :)

  7. YOU'LL HAVE SOME GOOD EATIN'!!!

LOTS OF TIME AND HARD WORK GO INTO A GARDEN, BUT IT'S ALWAYS WORTH IT!

I WISH YOU WELL WITH YOURS.

    HAVE A TERRIFIC WEDNESDAY!!!

  11. I haven't had a garden in years and years. I feel a mini garden coming on. You have inspired me! There is nothing like a tomato, cucumber or squash that comes right off the vine in your back yard.

I won't have time to start my own but a few plants won't cost me that much. I better get to digging.

    Have a great day!

  13. Your garden is going to be wonderful. I'm so envious! We finally got our house on the market and now are wondering if we do a garden or not, and we don't have much time to decide!

Praying for you during these weeks and trusting you are feeling God's unsurpassed comfort and peace.

    Love,Sara

Wow I am impressed, you all are doing such a great job, and when those veggies start coming off you are going to have so much fun . There is nothing any better than to be able to eat something that you have grown. Best wishes on continued success, and keep us posted.
