Something Funny...

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

I saw this on a few blogs last week and thought it was pretty funny. When will America wake up and realize what is happening to our country? At times like this I really wish my father was still alive. He grew up during World War II in Germany, under Hitler. I'm sure he'd have a lot to say regarding the state of our country now.

Enjoy your day!

  1. That is a humorous. Times are getting pretty scary right now. I am so thankful that we can trust in the Lord! I am so thankful to know that He has a plan!

    Have a great day!

  2. Too funny!!! I agree..pretty scary. But, not to worry so much He has it under control! I'm not talking about Obama-lol

  3. Everyday something new! Very scary time in our country. Praise God for the comfort he gives us now during this time. We must stay focused because He has a plan and it is mighty.

    God is so Good!
    Have a blessed day!

  4. Very funny AND very scary. I heard also that his inaugural speech was on the ipod- kinda arrogant,I thought:}

But again, God knows and see it all. So thankful we have Him to lean on!

  5. I agree, some very scary times right now. If we keep the faith, we will get through it.Health and happiness to all.

  6. *lol* Great cartoon! I'm sure a lot of our fore-fathers would have much to say about this presidential era!!!

  7. I agree things are very scary right now. I hate to even listen to the news any more. We just have to wait and see what happens and put our trust in God.

  8. LOL :D
    So true!!! :)

  9. Hi Lois - I have to say an iPod did seem like a strange sort of gift for a lady of 82!! Still, maybe she likes that sort of thing!!

  10. Sad, but true! It's good to know that we can have peace even in these times.

  11. great cartoon.
you are so sweet for sharing that with us.
Hope you are having a good day!!

  12. Funny in a serious kind of way, huh? Well, thankfully God is still in control...and He is my peace.

    Love and hugs,

  13. I do get so frustrated and wonder why everyone can't see too! Wow..I bet your father could tell some things that would open some eyes and change some hearts!

You asked if we went to Assembly of God...we don't, but our son's girlfriend does. She went to nationals with song writing one year and another year or two with singing (one time solo I think and once with a duet or something).

  14. I was reading the cartoon when dd came in with a question about an assignment and she read it too and we both lol! And an eyeball roll, too. Things just keep getting scarier....
