Happy Monday!

Or as Becky likes to say...Joyful Monday! Here's a cute picture of what we saw on our way to church yesterday!

Can you make out what they are??? TURKEYS!

And not the usual wild ones we see around here, but the kind that probably end up on your table in November! I guess the farmer had a very busy morning trying to get them back onto the farm!

The Colonel and I finally were able to watch Fireproof on Saturday evening. It was great. If you haven't already seen it, please find a copy and watch! I really enjoyed how the husband didn't give up on his marriage, but pressed through the obstacles and won his wife's love all over again.

Hope everyone has a great day...I'm off to read your blogs! I love spending some time in the morning visiting with all of you! Enjoy!

  8. "Fireproof" is wonderful. My husband and I have really got to take the time to sit down together to watch it. (I saw it with girlfriends at Bible study. It reminded me of how I used to have Kirk Cameron's pictures all over my bedroom walls when I was a kid. I like him more now, in a different way! I have so much respect for what he is doing for the Kingdom!)

  11. Tom Turkey better enjoy the free life right now. :-)
Fireproof is an awesome movie. I had the opportunity to sow the book, The Love Dare, from that movie into an employee's life this past week. I am praying for restoration in his marriage.
    Have a Marvelous Monday!

  16. Hi Lois,
I would LOVE to see wild turkeys walking around! What a treat!

I have been wanting to rent the dvd "Fireproof" it is hard to get on netflix because it is a popular one. Can't wait to see it!

As to your question regarding the story "The Fence" that I shared yesterday on my post for Spiritual Sunday - PLEASE feel free to share it! I read it years ago on a Christian yahoo group email list and it has stayed with me. I have used it with my Sunday School kids quite a bit. It is a great story and really tells it like it is - there IS no middle of the road!Blessings,
    Kymber

  23. Interesting picture. Made me think of the joke why did the turkey cross the street. Oh no, that was a chicken wasn't it. I guess it could work with turkeys.
    Have a great day.
