Here I Sit...

Thursday, February 12, 2009

As some of you know, I suffer with back pain. Most days I can just handle the pain, but for the past 3 days, it's been pretty bad. Thankfully I had some posts already done and was able to get on briefly yesterday and this morning. It's been very difficult to sit for long periods of times or stand for more than 20 minutes. I haven't even worked this week.

I was so happy when the Colonel came home tonight and set up his laptop for me up in our bedroom!! So "Here I Sit" in our bed happily connected again to my blogging friends while still being able to rest my painful back!

I'm on my way to visit everyone and see what everyone has been up to! Is my hubby great or what???

  1. praise God for His goodness. I too have suffered from back pain. Sciatic (sp?) nerve. There was times when the pain was so intense I would be sick to my stomache. I will be praying for you and for healing, for strength to persevere and that God will help you through this time of pain in your life ((hugs)) sigh...I want you to know I will uphold you in prayer. I will be adding you to my Fearless Friday Meme tomorrow, (it's a meme that God lead me to start for Prayer Requests..) blessings sweetie.

  3. Father, I thank you that you have provided Lois with such a loving, supportive husband, who wishes to help ease her pain and help her though this tough time. Father, will you bring healing and a cessation of pain to Lois's back. Touch her body, Lord, bring comfort and a release of pain. And make your presence very real to her right now. In Jesus' good name, Amen.

  7. You give that husband of yours a big hug for us. I am so glad that he set you up so you can lay, read and post. I think we would go through withdrawl if we didn't get your words of encouragement. I will keep you on my prayer list and uplift you daily. I wish I lived closer so I could lend a helping hand.

    God is so Good!
