Great Quote...

As most of you know, I love quotes. Sara's blog always has a great one posted on Saturdays. And when I find one that just speaks to me, I love to have it posted somewhere where I can see it...usually around my desk where I spend so much of my time. I posted one of my favorite quotes by Abraham Lincoln back in December.

Last week I found another great quote over at Blessed Femina. If you've never been to her blog, I highly recommend it. She has such beautiful posts that are very inspiring! Here's the quote...enjoy!

"The fact that I am a woman does not make me a different kind of Christian, But the fact that I am a Christian does make me a different kind of woman."

Elisabeth Elliot

And to go along with the quote...here's a great video I found from another new blogging friend, Lisa. This song is so powerful!
It's not who you knew. It's not what you did, It's how you lived. Enjoy!

  2. Great quote. FYI, I gave you an award over at my blog. ;) Don't feel required to do the meme part, I know those can take up time, but just so you know you've been "awarded". ;)

    Blessings!

  4. Hey friend, I am praying for you as I type this- Lord give Lois relief from pain today. Touch her body, help her to accomplish the things she needs to do today, but also to lay aside those things that are not necessary and that might only inflame her pain more. Help her to have rest and comfort in your Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.

You helped put perspective on my day.. I've been pouting a bit and feeling sorry for myself that I had to come into work today. But I am pain-free, so what is there to complain about? God bless and don't worry about the meme part, I know that you just did the 25 things, etc. Just enjoy your award and the nifty new picture for your sidebar. ;)

  10. Love quotes too! One of my favorites is posted on my blog...."Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength." Corrie ten Boom. It is a great reminder to me to let God have my worries, that there is nothing that he cannot handle.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and yes you are more then welcome to post the story on your blog. Do stop by again!

May you have an awesome day in the Lord!

  11. You always seem to have the knack of sending people away with something to think about. You are wonderful that way. Hope you are keeping better Lois and pain-free, or as pain-free as you can be.

Blessings to you all for the week ahead dear one,
