To go along with our revolution:

Proverbs 31:11-12

The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.

Let's all try and make this our prayer for the coming weeks, months, about as the verse says, "All the days of her life."

If you click on the below box, it'll bring you to another blog that has all the verses from Proverbs 31, so you can grab one and post it on your blog as well! I have the above verse posted in the left hand corner of my blog.

Two years ago, I spoke at our annual Mother/Daughter Tea. My subject was the Proverbs 31 Woman. I'm going to post parts of the devotional during the coming week so we can really get an idea of who this woman was and how we can strive to put our husbands first in our lives this year!

Come back Monday for the first part!

  1. Great post - and I scrolled on down and read previous ones also. Thanks for the reminders of who a wife is to serve.

And your husband's post if priceless!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting me:)

    Have a great weekend!

    Linda C

  2. Love this verse! Need this verse! Want to be this verse! Thanks for the encouragement, I'm looking forward to your posts this week.

  3. I'm telling you, Lois, putting this into action in my life has had wonderful results! I thought things were good, but now can see where the voids were. Happily, most of those areas have been completely changed!

I'm doing scripture memory with Beth Moore's blog and am memorizing Proverbs 31!

Blessings to you and all those who join in!

  4. Can't wait to read parts of your Proverbs 31 devotions!

  5. Hi Lois, visit my blog to see what I wrote about this today. I put a link back to here!
Please pray for me! I'm having trouble shaking this cold/flu thingy! I have never had anything go into my chest, but this is kinda acting like it might! I'm trying some home remedies...I'm not big into medical chemicals!
    Happee Saturday!

  6. I have heard many lessons and sermons on this topic. It never gets old. You have a unique way of introducing it. We would love to have you share with us on Spiritual Sundays.

  7. The Proverbs 31 woman is an inspiration to all of us. I'm looking forward to reading more about her here. :)
